we specialize in exporting premium Ugandan vanilla
to global markets. Our mission is to provide the highest-quality vanilla while supporting ethical farming and sustainable trade practices
Sourcing and processing
- We source our vanilla beans directly from farmers who are supported by extension workers to ensure we purchase the highest quality beans.
- We focus on quality control by purchasing fresh, ripe beans directly from farmers at harvest time. To ensure a high-quality, safe product, we train farmers on how to determine ripeness, proper harvesting techniques, appropriate bean storage, and secure transportation to our factory.
- Process: Our factory process begins with the sorting, purchasing, and cleaning of incoming vanilla. We then cure the beans using a method tailored to the final product. For our traditionally cured beans, we use sun exposure. For a faster process, we utilize an efficient system that cures the beans with centralized hot water. The finished beans are then prepared for delivery through our storage, packing, and shipping operations.

Sustainability
- We promote sustainable practices that protect the environment and support our farmers, ensuring the long-term viability of vanilla production.
Environmental sustainability; We promote climate-smart vanilla farming by discouraging deforestation. Since vanilla thrives in the shade, we encourage intercropping with fruit trees and coffee, which naturally prevents monoculture and boosts biodiversity. To protect human health and the environment, we strictly prohibit all pesticides and herbicides. Ultimately, vanilla cultivation, as an orchid, helps preserve local ecosystems and capture carbon from the atmosphere.
Social and Economic sustainability: We ensure farmers receive a fair price for their vanilla, which directly improves their livelihoods. By empowering them with training and resources, we promote the adoption of sustainable farming practices. This support drives social and economic development within their communities. We also encourage intergenerational skill transfer, a tradition we've seen for 37 years, which is vital for the long-term sustainability of this attention-demanding crop.
Curing practices
- We practice both traditional (sun drying) and hot water source curing. Both are efficient and environmentally friendly ways of curing which preserve the flavour and quality of the vanilla beans. The method also reduces reliance on fossil fuels.
Packing and Export
We also use freights where the journey is limited to reduce our the carbon foot prints.
